I Hate Internet

I used to think Internet is the greatest invention. Internet has been extremely useful a person like me who's not cleaver to find information around.

However, I've just experienced how dangerous it could be.

I've got this e-mail saying he met me one time briefly, and we talked about Kimchi. He knew some one that I was with at the time and would like to meet me, etc. I just didn't understand why I gave my personal e-mail address to him as he claimed.

It turns out that he got information about me online, and we've never met each other. I freaked out that he also knew who my advisor was and even my website. He thought I would be impressed that he was able to get those information, and he was quite mad at me not willing to meet him. He said something like, 'who do you think you are, are you a queen or something, you should be flattered a doctor like me in LA is interested in you, blar blar blar.'

I still can't figure out how he got my e-mail address, nationality, where I live, etc, but I learned something so changed all my names online into psydonyms.

Well, come to think of it, I should've changed the title from 'I Hate Internet' to 'I Hate Freaks Online'.

Why are those freaks interested in me? Is it me, California, or Internet?
