I didn't have any intention to have my own blog. I just couldn't understand people who wanted to publish their private life on Internet. This is how I came to have my 'I Hate X' blog. 1. I answered 'I hate all prepostions!' for a question 'what's your favorite preposition?'on our department blog. The stupid question was brought up by Kobe whom I plan to get rid of some day soon. 2. I began saying 'I hate...' everyday because life as a linguist was hard in the first quarter. 3. You-Jin suggested me to have my own blog called 'I Hate X' on my birthday party at the end of the first quarter since I seemed to have no problem of hating something new every day. 4. It was a joke, but Kobe practically pushed me to make my blog. The results? 1. My blog has a sister blog called 'I love X' by some one that I hate. 2. Several people whose name was mentioned on my blog try to kill me slowly including my roommate. This is what you get for being honest.
I know I already said it, but let me say it one more time. I HATE phonology. I never liked mathematics in high school. This is exactly like mathematics. I'm sooooooooooooooo stressed out. Why does it have to be a requirement when I don't have a slight interest in it?

Thanx Nobu for encouraging me. I'm grateful you always try to help whatever you can. I guess managing stress is one of things that we grad students should do. Do you have to study here? Of course you should. Your English will be improved, your knowledge will be expanded, you'll have a..... dunno if you'll have a girl friend...:) but as you said it's nothing to do with studying, huh? Moreover, if you don't study here, whom can I tease?
Let's study hard? No, I would say eat, drink, and dance. Come on, Nobu, we're not getting any younger.*wink*
Actually I did. I've got 42 out of 45. I still hate it but am not as much as stressed out I used to be. Thank you for your help. You are so sweet.
