I didn't have any intention to have my own blog. I just couldn't understand people who wanted to publish their private life on Internet. This is how I came to have my 'I Hate X' blog.
1. I answered 'I hate all prepostions!' for a question 'what's your favorite preposition?'on our department blog. The stupid question was brought up by Kobe whom I plan to get rid of some day soon.
2. I began saying 'I hate...' everyday because life as a linguist was hard in the first quarter.
3. You-Jin suggested me to have my own blog called 'I Hate X' on my birthday party at the end of the first quarter since I seemed to have no problem of hating something new every day.
4. It was a joke, but Kobe practically pushed me to make my blog.
The results?
1. My blog has a sister blog called 'I love X' by some one that I hate.
2. Several people whose name was mentioned on my blog try to kill me slowly including my roommate.
This is what you get for being honest.
Wow - the Balinese have a similar concept called "karmapala". Karma, as everyone knows, refers to the actions that a person decides to take in his/her lifetime. "Pala" refers to the "fruit" or "results" of those actions, even if a number of those actions were originally unintended.
